Business Planning Workshop for 2011 – 60 minutes
The purpose of the workshop is to prepare the stage for your planning for 2011 in a group environment. The expectation is that completing your plan would take about one additional hour. You will have the opportunity to hear about and discuss various planning options and to spend some time on your own plan. You will not be required to share your plan with the group.
By popular demand, I’ve scheduled 3 more sessions of the Business Planning Workshop. Please sign up for the one most convenient for you at www.SFLakeside.com on the “Events” tab.
- Monday, December 6, 2010 – 2pm
- Thursday, December 9, 2010 – 11am
- Thursday, December 9, 2010 – 2pm
Here is what they said about the first workshop:
Thanks Don. The workshop covered a lot of material quickly. I like the way you set the stage PLUS provided plenty of examples and gave us an opportunity to think about what we want to do differently next year. It provides a great opportunity to work ON the business not just IN the business which is what we do when we are busy. It seems like a lot of work to put it together and very worthwhile. I hope everyone takes the chance to put a plan in place.

I think you are doing a great thing helping the agents with planning. Since my first day in real estate, I’ve learned time management and planning by taking some seminars and reading books. The problem is once we become busy it’s very easy to be off the prospecting track. It’s very important to be reminded how to stay on top of it and plan our life in general to create some kind of balance. I was surprised how fast the time went in the workshop. A lot of what you covered helped me get in the mood for planning. I’m not so sure about the spreadsheet, but I can give it a try. It got me started on the plan and I am glad we scheduled a follow up meeting for accountability.

Thank you for leading the charge and helping us with the 2011 planning workshop. I found both the material provided and your guidance extremely helpful. It became very clear that in order to plan for a productive 2011, the most important thing we can do is to plan our activities and account for our precious time. Also, looking back to the productivity of 2010 to see how and from where our results came from is a crucial step in planning for next year.
